Template:Item Pieces of Power are items in Link's Awakening.[1][note 1]
Location and Uses
Pieces of Power appear after defeating 40 to 45 enemies.[3] When obtained, the music changes and Link's Sword begins to flash, causing double damage and sending enemies flying when hit.[1] Pieces of Power also increase Link's speed.[1] Their effect wears off after being hit three times or changing areas.[1]
In Link's Awakening DX, when the Red Clothes are worn, obtaining a Piece of Power quadruples the original damage output.
Trivia
- Pieces of Power were the inspiration for the Force Gem items in Four Swords Adventures.[4]
