Desma Four-Legged Spiders are enemies in Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland.[name references needed] They appear in Desma's Labyrinth and are similar in appearance and behavior to Tektites.

Characteristics

Desma Four-Legged Spiders are common throughout Desma's Labyrinth and usually appear in small groups, sometimes emerging from the ground in front of Tingle. Like Tektites, they move by jumping and will leap around the room until they spot Tingle, at which point they will aggressively hop after him until he leaves their territory. With a Bodyguard, Tingle should not have much trouble with these enemies, although they are moderately strong. Like other dungeon enemies, they drop Rupees.

Trivia

  • Desma Four-Legged Spiders not only behave like Tektites, they also appear solely in a mountainous region, albeit inside a dungeon rather than its surrounding foothills. Unlike Tektites they appear to have no mouths and also have a total of three eyes, with one on top of their bodies and one on their backs, rather than just one at the front. Each eye appears to focus independently.
  • Dark Four-Legged Spiders are similar creatures from the same game, but do not jump, and instead crawl across the ground. They also only have one eye. Whether the monsters are related or not is unclear.
