Template:Item The Mermaid Suit is an item in Oracle of Ages.[1] It is found in Mermaid's Cave.

Location and Uses

The Mermaid Suit is an upgrade for the Zora's Flippers. The Mermaid Suit permits Link to swim in deep water without drowning. It also allows him to swim faster and against currents by tapping the direction Link wants to go.[2] Furthermore, he can use it to dive under the water to explore the seabed, flooded passages, and submarine grottos. This ability is essential in the navigation of the underwater Zora Village, as well as the next dungeon located there, Jabu-Jabu's Belly.

Underwater, Link can still use the Switch Hook, the Seed Shooter, and his Sword.

Trivia

  • Many Zoras in Zora Village, including King Zora believe Link is a mermaid because of the suit.[3][4]
