Spume
Spumes are enemies appearing in Skyward Sword.
Characteristics
Spume are toad-like enemies that are similar in appearance and behavior to the Toadpoli.If Link comes too close to them, they will dive into whatever form of matter they're swimming in.
Varieties
There are several kinds of Spume including the Magma, Electro, and Cursed Spume. They all poccess different behaviors and patterns, and they also have a different stratagy to defeating them.
Magma Spume
Magma Spumes can be found in the Earth Temple. They swim in magma spit fire balls that can be sliced with the sword rendering them ineffective or can be reflected with a good Shield Bash,but this only can be done with theIron Shield and its upgrades or theSacred Shield and its upgrades or the Hylian Shield, because the Wooden Shield will burn away and cannot do the action,and can be rolled over with a stone ball from inside the Earth Temple.If a Magma Spume hits you with a fireball you will get burned and need to do a Roll Attack or a Spin Attack to get the fire away.
Electro Spume
Electro Spumes appear in the Lanayru Desert region.They are very similar to the Magma Spumes but they are Yellow,live in sand regions and spit electricity instead of fire. They swim in sand and shoot electrified balls at the young hero but this time he cant repel it with the sword because he will get shocked and damaged,the only form to repel it,its with a Shield Bash with the following shields:The Wooden Shield, Banded Shield, the Braced Shield, Sacred Shield, the Divine Shield , Goddess Shield or the Hylian Shield because the Iron Shield and its upgrades, conduct the electricity.
Aqua Spume
{{{2}}}s can be found in the Lanayru Sand Sea. They are green in color and try to shoot at Skipper's boat. They can be defeated by a cannon shot.
Cursed Spume
Cursed Spumes appear in the Fire Sanctuary. They are very similar to the Magma and Electro Spume but they can spit dark balls that can Curse Link and they are Purple in color. They swim in magma and spit dark balls that can Curse Link if the attack lands, this will cause that Link cant use his Sword or his Items until the effect fades away.It can be defeated by a Bomb like he simmilars Magma and Electric Spume and the Dark Cursed Balls can be repelled with Shield Bash but only with the following shields:Sacred Shield, the Divine Shield , Goddess Shield or the Hylian Shield because they are the only who can repel Curses and Evil.
