Chief Soldier
The Chief Soldier appears as Mini-Boss in Four Swords Adventures, twice as the main Boss of a stage, and reappearing later as a normal enemy. Normally accompanied by a large group of Soldiers, the Chief Soldier is comparatively much larger and tougher. They behave similarly to the Big Dark Stalfos. The Soldiers respond by going back or forward when the Chief says "Back!" or "Forth!" It attacks with a powerful thrust attack that if it misses leaves the Chief Soldier wide open for a counter attack to the back or side. There are three types of Chief Soldier, Blue, Green and Red, each increasingly stronger than the former.

- Blue Chief Soldiers wear the same armor, aside from the helmet, as the Knights of Hyrule.
