Thunder Helm
Template:Item The Thunder Helm is a helmet of the Gerudo Link can obtain in Breath of the Wild.
Location and Uses
The Thunder Helm was originally located in Gerudo Town, but was stolen by the Yiga Clan prior to the events of Breath of the Wild, so Link must obtain the helmet from Master Kohga at the Yiga Clan Hideout. When defeated, Link will obtain the Thunder Helm, but requires to give the helmet to Riju to continue the story of entering the Divine Beast Vah Naboris. When worn by Riju, it will trigger a memory 100 years ago, when the Thunder Helm belonged to Urbosa, and grants Riju and anyone within a circle immunity to the lightning caused by Vah Naboris, allowing Link to weaken the Divine Beast and enter the dungeon.
When the Divine Beast is free, Link can return to Gerudo Town and request to take the Thunder Helm from Ruji, but she refuses at first because of the helmet belonging to the Gerudo, but agrees to let Link borrow the helmet to fight Ganon if Link helps out some of the Gerudo in Gerudo Town. When complete, the helmet will grant Link +3 defence when worn, as well as to take no damage when struck by lightning during a thunder storm.
