The Advance Shop, also referred to the 100 Rupee Advance Shop, is a location in Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons. It is a unique store as it can only be accessed when the game is played on a Game Boy Advance.[1]

Overview

The shop is adjacent to the Lynna Village Shooting Gallery in Oracle of Ages,[2] and adjacent to the Know-It-All Birds Hut in Oracle of Seasons.[3] It is not available in the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console version of either game, as the 3DS uses the Game Boy Color emulator for the game. By using a memory manipulation glitch in the North American version of Oracle of Ages, it can be booted in the Game Boy Advance state, allowing access to the shop.

The Advance Shop is run by Stockwell, who is amazed that Link managed to find the store.[4] Every item sold in the Advance Shop costs 100 Rupees.[5] The shop's merchandise consists of a Gasha Seed and two Magic Rings. Once appraised, the first ring, called an Advance Ring in the shop, will become the GBA Time Ring in Oracle of Ages, or the GBA Nature Ring in Oracle of Seasons. If Link buys every item, Stockwell has nothing more to sell.[6]
