Ahitaru is a coastal area in Gamelon that is unlocked after Kobitan is completed. The region's most notable landmark is a massive fish carcass in which the Fisherman had gotten himself stuck. If Zelda uses the Power Glove on the Boulder on top of the skull she'll free the Fisherman and earn a key to his place in Sakado.

Ahitaru is the first area in which Zelda can obtain the Water of Life, which she can receive by talking to the Water Lady.

After its completion, the Shutoy Lake becomes available.
