Arkadais[1] are enemies that appear in the Philips CD-i game The Wand of Gamelon.
Characteristics
Arkadais are crocodile-like monsters that inhabit lakes and rivers in the island of Gamelon. They swim back and forth repeatedly in a set path. They are for the most part harmless, and are actually helpful as Zelda can ride on their backs to reach other places. Although while they do not directly attack Zelda, the Arkadais in the last section of Washubi Swamp will submerge into the water periodically, which will make Zelda fall into the water should she stand on one while it dives. They cannot be attacked or defeated by any means.
