Armoranths grow in Hyrule Ridge and the Akkala Highlands. When an Armoranth is cooked into a meal in a Cooking Pot, the resulting dish will grant Link an increased defense when eaten.[1] Armoranths can be roasted by a Fire to create Roasted Armoranths. At the Kochi Dye Shop, Link can use Armoranths to create Purple Dye.
