Bombarossa are recurring enemies in The Legend of Zelda series.[1] They float around in some dungeons, and explode on contact. Some patrol a small area, and must be avoided, while others remain stationary. Stationary Bombarossa sometimes form puzzles which must be solved by exploding them in a particular way to result in a chain explosion to activate switches. If the Bombarossa is in Link's path, the safest way to avoid them would be to jump over them using the Roc's Cape.

Trivia

  • Bombarossa's name comes from "bomba rossa", Italian for "red bomb". This name is only used in the English localization; in fact, the Italian localization uses the Japanese original "Bombui".
