Death Bug

The Ultra Lord Death Bug is the boss of the Hero's Shrine Dungeon in Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland. Tingle will have to destroy this creature to continue on his journey. It is a large insectoid creature that has a variety of attacks, including the ability shoot out energy balls and strike out with long vines. It can be defeated by throwing multiple Tingle Bombs in its face. After being destroyed, its body will yield 1,000 Rupees.

Theory Warning

It has been speculated by many fans that this boss is the same as the one in the Insect Cavern dungeon, Beetle King, despite already witnessing its destruction. The reason for this belief is that the bosses are both similar in appearance and title, and that they are both fought the same way. It should also be noted that the Beetle King boss changes its form often, thus meaning that if they were the same, it could very well have slight alterations.
