Template:Dungeons The Deepwood Shrine is the first dungeon within The Minish Cap. It is a is a Minish-size dungeon located behind the lost city of the Minish deep within the Minish Woods.
The way out of the village and into the Shrine is guarded by the village's priest, Festari. The Deepwood Shrine is a bog-like dungeon with several cobwebs, mushrooms, and even a giant barrel located at the center of the dungeon. It is infested with Sluggulas, Pestos and Puffstools.
Link's reward for defeating the dungeon's mini-boss, Madderpillar, is the newest helpful item, the Gust Jar. The boss is a ChuChu that finds its way into the Shrine. Although it's a perfectly ordinary ChuChu, it appears gigantic and intimidating to Minish Link. The Earth Element is Link's reward for defeating the ChuChu.
