Cylos is not stated to be a deity in the game, but it can be assumed he is one. He is a reference to Zephos and Cyclos from The Wind Waker and possibly related. Like them, Cylos has the appearance of a huge odd-colored frog. Also, he posses wind-related powers.[1] Through his minions, he stays up to date what is going on in the world.[5][6] He and Oshus have been long time friends,[7][8] which is partially why Cylos is very eager to help Link, also a friend of Oshus, on his quest. It is implied that Cylos knows that Oshus is the Ocean King, even though he doesn't tell Link.
