According to my Club Nintendo account, the Ocarina of Time 3D soundtrack order is being prepared. This must mean that they are now being shipped to people who got to order them. So make sure to keep a lookout for them. More details to come later.
The folks at Original Sound Version had the opportunity to speak with Ocarina of Time soundtrack creator Koji Kondo and ask him a few questions about his work on the series. With the re-release of Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time on the 3DS, fans finally have a chance to view the thoughts and opinions of the creator of the soundtrack. As well as learn a little more info on the upcoming Skyward Sword soundtrack. To celebrate the 3D remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on the Nintendo 3DS, we’ve been fortunate enough to have some of Koji Kondo’s time to discuss the game’s soundtrack. While this interview was conducted before the promotional soundtrack disc and 25th anniversary world tour were announced, Kondo still has some interesting things to say about his work on the Ocarina of Time soundtrack as well as the upcoming Skyward Sword title on the Wii.
The latest Iwata Asks interview for Ocarina of Time 3D is now up, and this time it features the team from Grezzo! They talk about how they handled recreating the classic Zelda title for the 3DS, including implementing the 3D, how to remain faithful to the original while still making it a new experience, as well as a neat little tidbit: while some glitches were purged since they were harmful to gameplay, others were preserved and fine-tuned so that they work more like intended features! Though I'm not a glitching man myself, it's good to see that preserving the original was so important that even the glitches remained!
The Iwata Asks feature on the Nintendo site has recently released an interesting interview regarding Ocarina of Time for the Nintendo 64, as well as for the 3DS. This interview is between Iwata, a CEO of Nintendo, and the development staff for Ocarina of Time N64. Things brought up in the interview include development issues encountered in the original N64 version of Ocarina of Time, and simply a ton of answered questions that may or may not have been known before. Since the interview is far too long to put here in full, part 1 has been put for you to read. Here is a link that will take you to the part 1 listed here, as well as the other 7 parts. Obviously, it is quite a long interview! Enjoy! |
