A Link to the Past
Dungeon - Skeleton Forest
Prize - Third Crystal
Mothula guards the Crystal in the third dungeon in the Dark World of A Link to the Past. He is a large moth which uses Fire to attack Link. This is also the best way to defeat him, the Fire Rod damages him a lot. But it also works with the sword. When he is defeated he leaves a Heart Container and the Third Crystal behind in which the violet maiden is imprisoned.
Oracle of Seasons
Dungeon - Poison Moth's Lair
Weakness - Sword
Prize - Bright Sun
Mothula guards the Bright Sun Essence in the third dungeon of Oracle of Seasons. He is a large moth which uses Fire to attack Link. He also will send out baby moths to attack any aggressor. When he is defeated he leaves a Heart Container and the Bright Sun Essence, which provides the warm rays which let young shoots grow quickly
