Saria's Song
From Zelda Wiki, the Zelda encyclopedia
Saria's Song is a song played in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and appearing many times afterwards. It is considered as being the game's main theme.
Saria's Song was a bouncy tune taught to Link by his best friend, Saria the Kokiri. He learned Saria's Song as a symbol of friendship, and playing the song allowed him to communicate with Saria. Other uses included playing it to cheer up Darunia when Link first met him; to become friends with the Skull Kid in the Lost Woods (who later becomes a villain in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask) and win a Piece of Heart; and to get Mido out of Adult Link's way on his return journey to the Lost Woods to find Saria again.
The Song of Healing is Saria's Song backwards.
