Sera is a character in Twilight Princess who runs a Shop called Sera's Sundries.

Biography

Sera is a resident of Ordon Village, the mother of Beth and the wife of Hanch. She runs Sera's Sundries, the only shop in town, where Link can buy the Slingshot. The shop also stocks Milk, Bee Larvae and, later in the game, Lantern Oil.

Sera owns a cat named Link that she cares for dearly. Link the cat runs away after she scolds him for eating a fish meant for her family's dinner. She is so distressed over her missing cat that she tires herself too much to sell anything in her shop.[1] The cat can be found near the water in the back of Jaggle's house, but the cat runs away whenever Link goes near. After catching a fish with the fishing rod, the cat will come up near Link meowing. After Link catches a second fish and releases it, the cat grabs it up before it can go back in the water, taking the fish back home to Sera. Sera is so happy with her cat's return that she gives Link a Bottle that is half full with milk, having given the other half to the cat.[2] At this point, Link is now able to purchase items.

If I had known this was going to happen, I would have let my little kitty eat fish to his heart's content... Link, m'dear... I'm sorry, but would you leave me be? I'll serve you milk later." — '''Sera''' (Twilight Princess)
  2. "Ohhh, just look... Isn't he so cute, the way he laps up that milk? Say, m'dear, why don't you have some, too! I'm in a good mood, so it's on the house today! Oh, don't worry, you don't have to return the empty bottle, m'dear. You can reuse it--you know, put something else in it. Recycling is a very important thing, m'dear!" — '''Sera''' (Twilight Princess)
