Hey there. I originally came here from the Left 4 Dead Wiki where I work as the head administrator. However, nowadays I spend most of my time on Bulbapedia where I am the Head of Games on the Editorial Board. If you have any questions, feel free to address them on my talk page or drop me a line on Bulbapedia. So I guess I'll see everyone around.
Zelda history
I've been playing video games since I could pick up a Nintendo controller. As a toddler, I would try different games in our library to see what I could do. In Legend of Zelda, and Adventure of Link, I could never get far or really do much anything at that age, but I still enjoyed myself. Later when we got a Nintendo 64, I began playing my siblings' Ocarina of Time files like a virtual doll house, making up my own little stories as I ran around Hyrule. I was too terrified of Redeads to even attempt playing the game's story myself. Just hearing their moan would petrify me. The first Zelda game I managed to beat on my own was Wind Waker, then Majora's Mask (which helped rid me of my fear of Redeads, who I now find amusing), and then finally Ocarina of Time. Since then, I've played every new Zelda game that has been released, and I've been working on beating the games before Ocarina of Time. A list of the games I've played can be seen below. I also own all of the Zelda manga by Akira Himekawa.
Also, it is my head canon that the Ocarina of Time was carved from a Timeshift Stone.
