The Carpet Merchant is a character in Ocarina of Time.[1]

Biography

The Carpet Merchant is a salesman who sits on a flying carpet and runs a Shop in the Haunted Wasteland.[1] Link can access his flying carpet by either using the Hover Boots to cross onto it or by simply jumping and pressing the attack button at the last second to gain a little extra momentum which makes him land on the carpet. He greets Link, makes a sales pitch for the Bombchus he sells, not mentioning them by name, and refuses to tell him what he sells until paid.[2]

During the ending sequence, the Carpet Merchant can be seen floating on his carpet with the Bean Seller and the Lake Scientist at Lon Lon Ranch.
