Manny is a character in The Wind Waker.[2]

Biography

Manny is a freckled, blonde-haired boy about Link's height who is interested in the Nintendo Gallery. He wears a blue shirt and can be seen standing outside the entrance to the gallery before Link gets in, and loiters near Carlov's counter or looks at the figurines once inside. If Link takes his picture, Carlov will make a Figurine of him and say he is quite handsome.[3]

Trivia

  • The bag that Manny carries has a picture of an Octorok from The Legend of Zelda.
  • In the Nintendo GameCube version of The Wind Waker, Manny's path in the Nintendo Gallery is unfinished. He will simply stop and stand in place once he reaches the end of his path. This was fixed in the PAL version, where the path was finished to create a closed loop. The bug is also present in The Wind Waker HD, which is based on the North American version.

Nomenclature

Manny is a common nickname for "Emmanuel."[4]

Manny's Japanese name, Mani A., is likely a joke about his maniacal obsession with Figurines.
