Necluda is a recurring Region in The Legend of Zelda series.(BotWBreath of the Wild | TotKTears of the Kingdom | HWAoCHyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity)[1][2][3]

Features and Overview

Breath of the Wild

Necluda is a Region of Hyrule, situated just east of the Faron and south of Lanayru. Necluda is divided into three sections: East Necluda, the Necluda Sea, and West Necluda. Fort Hateno is located on the border separating the East and West portions of the Region, while the Necluda Sea features landmarks such as Eventide Island and Tenoko Island.

The Region is primarily inhabited by Hylians and Sheikah, though the Gerudo treasure hunter Flavi can be found in Lurelin Village and Koroks can be found hiding all throughout the area. According to the Sheikah Slate's Album, some areas of the Faron Tower Region are actually part of Necluda, such as Lurelin Village in East Necluda and Floria Bridge, Lake Floria, and Lakeside Stable in West Necluda As a result, Necluda has the most surviving villages of any Region, as Hateno Village, Kakariko Village, and Lurelin Village are all found within its borders.

During the Great Calamity 100 prior to the events of Breath of the Wild, Link and Princess Zelda were responsible for the mass destruction of Guardian Stalkers near Fort Hateno in Necluda. This, along with the Hylian defenses at Fort Hateno, prevented Guardian forces from traveling toward Hateno Village.[4] This event can be seen in the Recovered Memory "Zelda's Awakening".
