Scout
The Scouts are characters in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.[2]
Biography
The Scouts are a pair Gerudo warriors that infiltrated the Yiga Clan Hideout prior to the Warriors' arrival. Both of them appear during the "Destroy the Yiga Clan!" Scenario.
After invading the Yiga Clan Hideout, Urbosa directs the Warriors to meet with the first Scout.[3][4] When they come upon the Scout, she will be engaged in battle with Yiga Blademasters.[5] While she is in danger, the Scout will plead for Urbosa's help.[6] After being rescued, the Scout reveals that Master Kohga is hiding at the back of the Hideout, though she does not know how to get to him.[7] Urbosa assures the Scout that she has done well, since she is sure that they will find a way.[8] The Scout then admits that her companion was captured by the Yiga Clan, and she begs the Warriors to save her.[1][9]
Upon hearing that the second Scout has been captured, Urbosa surmises that she must be reckless.[10] However, Impa decides that they must break her out, since she may have information that could help them.[11] When they find the Scout, she will be locked in a cell, where Urbosa demands to know what happened.[12][13] The second Scout reveals that she was ambushed after discovering the key to a Hidden Door.[14] After defeating the Yiga Blademaster guarding the cell, the Warriors are able to free the Scout.[15][16] As a result, she is able to show the Warriors the location of the Hidden Door and open it.[17][18]
Trivia
- One of the Scouts being captured by the Yiga Clan is a reference to Barta from Breath of the Wild, who was also captured while scouting out the Yiga Clan Hideout.[19]
