"Shrouded Shrine" is a Shrine Quest in Breath of the Wild.[1]

Overview

When Link steps into the Thyphlo Ruins, he will be transported to the darkened entrance. He hears the voice of the Monk Ketoh Wawai, who instructs him to find the Ancient Shrine in the ruins.[2] This begins the Shrine Quest.

Ahead of Link is a lit Torch in the shape of a bird. By following the Torches, Link will eventually come across a Pedestal with a Concave Slot. Past it is a sleeping Blue Hinox with an Ancient Orb tied around its neck. Link must take the Ancient Orb either by defeating the Blue Hinox or sneaking past it and insert it into the Pedestal, which will cause Ketoh Wawai Shrine to rise from the ground.[3] After this, the Shrine Quest will be completed.

Objectives

Stage Description
1 When you arrived in the ruins shrouded in darkness, a strange voice spoke out to you.

It would seem that a shrine is hidden somewhere within the ruins, though it may prove challenging to search a place that is pitch black, even during the day.
Complete Someone built this challenge within the Thyphlo Ruins.

When you stole the object from the Hinox hidden in the depths of the ruins and placed it on the pedestal, a shrine appeared!
