Appropriate?

I'm not sure what Nintendo Land is, but I know that it's not Zelda, and that we generally don't make articles for characters not from the Zelda universe who do not play some sort of role in a Zelda game. As such, I don't feel that this article is appropriate for Zelda Wiki. Perhaps this would be better served as a redirect to the appropriate page on another wiki (whatever wiki which cover Nintendo Land, to be specific).User:Justin ZW/sig 18:31, 6 January 2013 (UTC)

She makes comments on the prizes won on the top of the central tower, some of which are zelda related --Norrvegr (talk | contribs) 19:26, 6 January 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I'm sorry, but that still doesn't make her a notable character in a Zelda game. Just because the prizes are Zelda related doesn't mean that it's a Zelda game. I understand you put a lot of effort into making the page, and I really respect that, but it's just part of our policy that we don't cover stuff like this, especially with our NIWA affiliations.User:Justin ZW/sig 05:33, 7 January 2013 (UTC)
Going by ZeldaWiki.org's canon policy, Monita is not canon. There are some articles on the wiki about non canon games, such as Soulcalibur II more so than non-canon characters like Mario. I have not played Nintendoland, but from what I have seen, the only characters are Miis. It generally seems that non-canon characters only get an article on the wiki when connected directly to a non-canon game, such as Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Going by this, in my opinion, there is not enough connection for the article to be relevant in any meaningful way. Therefore, the page should be deleted or redirected to another wiki if ZeldaWiki.org still has that policy. Yruag 11:09, 11 January 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Well, Ganon appears in it. --Norrvegr (talk | contribs) 15:23, 11 January 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Generally games with only cameo appearances don't have articles for their other characters on Zelda Wiki. I don't think Monita needs an article because she does not play any important role in relation to the Zelda series. --SnorlaxMonster 16:36, 11 January 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I would like the opinion of wiki admins, because they know the canon policy better than anyone else, so we can go forward with the proper proceedings. With that, I would like to add one thing to what I typed before because I made a small mistake in connectivity. If Monita was a character in, say, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, then Super Smash Bros. Brawl would have an article (as it does), with subsections of characters (which is does) instead of a soul article of Monita. This is basically the model I was going by in my last comment. So, if anything, only Nintendoland would have an article (at the most). Yruag 23:37, 11 January 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
