Stolen Items
This article should list all the items that the Takkuri bird can steal in Majora's Mask. I know that it can take any sword, even the Great Fairy's Sword as well as a bottle. However, I'm certain that the Mirror Shield cannot be stolen. The Mirror Shield can't be stolen because that would allow "downgrading" to the Hero's Shield. This is supported by the fact that a Like Like will not take the Mirror Shield as it takes the Hero's Shield. I also know that any stolen consumables (bombs, arrows, rupees, etc.) can only be retrieved if the bird is killed and are not taken to the shop.--Emma 01:18, 21 April 2008 (UTC) Hey matt don't you think the takuri bird is wicked ugly in majoras mask? If you play the song of time after having an item stolen, I think you get regain said items without needing to buy them. I have to confirm this, but I'm fairly sure. Perhaps that should be mentioned in the article? 00:29, 15 May 2008 (UTC)Rex
- Yes, I'm also pretty sure that that is correct and I don't recall ruppees ever being stolen in LA, but I could be wrong, I never really kept much track of them. :D --Magnus orion 00:36, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

Skyward Sword Takkuri
I'm suprised that no one noticed this but...around the entrace to the Forest area in the Sky is a bird that when you kill it, it always drops 20 Rupees. My guess is that this bird has to be a Takkuri. Usually I always find this bird closer to the clouds or about the middle of height. Can someone try to confirm if this bird is a Takkuri or something else? --Nathbuds123 11:28, 26 January 2012 (EST)

- I is impossible to use Fi's abilities while rding a Loftwing. Because of this, I don't believe it's possible to discern the name of the bird that flies around certain areas of The Sky. - TonyT S C 09:13, 4 November 2012 (UTC)

Name theory
I think that it's name could be a portmanteau of ``take´´ and ``tori´´ (the japanese word for bird). Should it be added to the article?SilverArcher 18:49, 1 June 2013 (UTC)
