Location and Uses

Cojiro is initially in the Cucco Lady's possession in Kakariko Village, and can be acquired by Link after he uses the Pocket Cucco, whose Egg she gave him earlier, to wake up Talon. After Link shows her the hatched Pocket Cucco, the Cucco Lady comments that it is happy from awakening Talon and determines that Link is a skilled Cucco Keeper. She gives Cojiro to Link after telling him that the enigmatic blue Cucco once belonged to her brother, Grog. She mentions that it has stopped crowing ever since her brother left. After showing Cojiro to Grog in the Lost Woods, he is surprised and comments that only a "nice guy" like himself can tame it. He concludes that Link is also a "nice guy" and gives him the Odd Mushroom, begging him to deliver it to Granny in Kakariko Village before it spoils.

Trivia

  • Cojiro is distinctive from other Cuccos in the The Legend of Zelda series with its blue color and tendency to refrain from crowing.
