Zora's Flippers are an item that allows Link to swim, and dive underwater. They have been featured in every 2-D Zelda game except for the original The Legend of Zelda and The Adventure of Link. A similar item known as the Mermaid Suit was found in Oracle of Ages. The role of the flippers has been filled in the 3-D games by the Silver and Golden Scales in Ocarina of Time and the Zora Armor in Twilight Princess.

A Link to the Past

In A Link to the Past, the flippers cost 500 rupees and were required to reach certain areas of the game. Link could also use whirlpool portals in waterways.

The Minish Cap

In The Minish Cap, Link finds the flippers as a Minish in a sewer underneath Hyrule Town's library after a long sidequest which involves returning overdue books. Librari, a Minish elder, sends Link down into the sewer. With these flippers, Link is able to gain entrance to the Temple of Droplets at Lake Hylia.
