Template:Boss The Beetle King appears in Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland as the boss of Insect Cavern. Tingle must destroy him by dropping numerous Tingle Bombs on his face.

After it appears as though Tingle has destroyed the Beetle King, its remains will suddenly morph into a new monster, only known as Undiscovered Parasitic Insect. This form of the boss is much larger, stronger, and faster. When destroyed, it's body will yield 40,000 rupees.[1]
