(Mutoh, as an extension of the carpenters, is more notable in OoT than MM as first, the game is more popular and better known, and second, they are a necessary plot point rather than wandering citizens.) |

King Mutoh appears in Phantom Hourglass, and is the spirit of the long-dead ruler of the Cobble Kingdom.[1] His coffin can be found within the largest pyramid tomb on the Isle of Ruins, guarded by the boss of the dungeon, Eox.
Biography
After defeating Eox, Mutoh gives Link one of the Pure Metals, Aquanine, in acknowledgment of Link's strength and cunning.[2] In Phantom Hourglass, Mutoh is only seen as a ghost; the cause of his death remains unknown. After receiving the Aquanine, King Mutoh will send a Power Gem to Link via the postal service to help him on his adventures.[citation needed]
