Little is known about Lord Jabu-Jabu. In Ocarina of Time, he resides in Zora's Fountain, a sacred lake behind Zora's Domain, where he is worshipped by the Zoras and acts as a guardian deity similar to the Great Deku Tree. He is very fond of fish, and has grown quite large due to frequent offerings by the Zora. Young Link must feed Lord Jabu-Jabu a fish in order to gain entrance to his belly, so that he may save Princess Ruto, who had entered in search of her mother's stone, the Zora's Sapphire. Lord Jabu-Jabu is very similar in appearance to the Wind Fish from Link's Awakening and is likely related to or is Jabun in The Wind Waker, not only do they share appearences, but the music it plays when you speak to Jabun in WW is identical to that of inside Jabu-Jabu's belly.
