Ascend
Ascend is an ability in Tears of the Kingdom.[name references needed]
Overview
Ascend is an Ancient Power that Link can use while underneath terrain or buildings so long as the targeted surface is relatively flat and nothing would obstruct Link on the other side. When Link uses the ability, he will rise upward through the material above him and appear on the other side. This can be used to quickly gain altitude or escape from dangerous situations.
Link will have an opportunity to confirm if he wishes to Ascend through an object after seeing what is on the other side of the selected object, allowing him to abort a potentially risky move if needed.
