Appearing exclusively in The Minish Cap, the Castor Wilds is a marshy area of western Hyrule, primarily serving as a gateway between Western Wood and Wind Ruins. Monsters in this area primarily include Ropes, but there are some Eyegore statues as well.

Marshy swamp water is a unique characteristic of the wilds. Link will not immediately drown upon stepping into the water, but sinks as if in quicksand, and his foot speed significantly slows. To cross the swamps safely, Link needs the Pegasus Boots to cross the swamp.

When Link reaches the entrance to Wind Ruins, it is blocked by three Mysterious Statues, each of which ask to fuse Golden Kinstones. Each of the needed kinstones can be found somewhere in Castor Wilds: one guarded by a Darknut in a cave to the west, a second in a cave to the north, and the third in a cave near the center. All three must be collected and used to pass through. Somewhere near the north-west of Castor Wilds, the bow can be found when shrunk to Minish size, which is guarded by Mulldozers.

Castor Wilds also contains Swiftblade the First's dojo, and also contains a waterfall, within lies Scarblade, another of the Blade Brothers.
