Ravio's Shop

Features and Overview
Ravio's Shop is located inside Link's House. Ravio begins renting items from within Link's House shortly after Link allows him to move in, but he completely rearranges the young hero's home after Link returns the Smooth Gem to Oren. One Link's House has been rearranged, Ravio begins to rent out various items,[1] which Link needs in order to travel Hyrule and Lorule. Ravio's first item that he gives Link is the Rented Bow,[2] free of charge.[3]
The rental period for Ravio's items are indefinite,[4] though if Link dies while carrying rented items, Ravio's pet bird, Sheerow, will retrieve them and Link will have to rent them once more.[5] After Link obtains the three Pendants of Virtue, Ravio begins to sell the items in his shop in addition to renting them.[6] These items are considerably more expensive to purchase, but they will not be taken away should Link die.
Ravio occasionally offers discounts on item rentals, roughly reducing the cost to half;[7] items that cost 50 Rupees to rent will instead cost 20 Rupees. When Link first purchases an item, Ravio will give the young hero a one-time half-price discount on that item.
