"An Eye for Weapons" is a Quest in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

Overview

"An Eye for Weapons" appears after the Quest "Off to the Hot Springs" has been completed. In this Quest, the Warriors give Items to an old man from the Hylian Blacksmith Guild, who recently had an argument with his grandchild and wants to repair their relationship. Once the Quest is complete, the man gives the Items to his grandchild and teaches the Warriors his secret method for evaluating Weapons as a reward. Using this, the Warriors have a better chance of higher-quality Weapons.

Completion of this Quest is needed for completing "The Hope of Central Hyrule."

Objectives

Stage	Description
Start	An old man from the Hylian Blacksmith Guild is upset after having an argument with his grandchild. He'd like to smooth things over, so gather whatever the youngster likes for him.
Complete	After you brought the old man what his grandchild likes, he smoothed things over with the youngster. In thanks, he taught you his secret technique for evaluating weapons.
