This article is about the item in Link's Awakening. For other uses, see Banana (Disambiguation).

Template:Item Bananas are recurring items in The Legend of Zelda series.[1]

Location and Uses

The Bananas are the fourth item in the Trading Sequence of Link's Awakening.[1] Bananas are available at Sale's House O' Bananas on Toronbo Shores.[2] Although Link can't purchase them, he may receive a bunch of Bananas by giving Sale his can of Dog Food,[1] who in turn gives him the bunch as thanks.[3]

The Bananas can then be given to Kiki, a hungry Monkey found near the moat of Kanalet Castle.[4][5] He will repay Link, with the help of his Monkey brethren, by building a bridge across the water moat giving Link access to Kanalet Castle.[1] Upon leaving, the Monkeys leave behind the Stick,[1] the next item in the Trading Sequence.[6]
