"Battle Rank Notice" is the name of three Letters in Spirit Tracks.[1]
Location and Uses
"Battle Rank Notice" Letters are obtained by playing the multiplayer Battle Mode and accumulating enough points to raise Link's battle rank. After climbing four battle ranks from "H" to "D", Link can return to the main quest and visit any Postbox, where the Postman will deliver a congratulatory Letter from the Battle Committee, along with a random Treasure.[2] Two further "Battle Rank Notice" Letters will be delivered after Link climbs three more battle ranks to "A", then two more ranks to "★★". The included Treasure increases in rarity each time.
The first Letter reads,
You've achieved a battle rank of D and have been registered as an intermediate competitor. To celebrate, here is a prize for you. Enjoy!
To boost your competitor level, you'll need to attain a battle rank of A. Best of luck, and fight the good fight!
Battle Committee
The second Letter reads,
You've achieved a battle rank of A and have been registered as an advanced competitor. To celebrate, here is a prize for you. Enjoy!
To boost your competitor level, you'll need to attain a battle rank of ★★. Best of luck, and fight the good fight!

The third Letter reads,
You've achieved a battle rank of ★★ and have been registered as a master competitor. To celebrate, here is a prize for you. Enjoy!
