Template:Item The Bird Key is an item in Link's Awakening.[1]

Location and Uses

The Bird Key is located deep within a cave in Tal Tal Heights.[2] Unfortunately for Link, he can not access it alone due to the huge pits in the cave. He must bring back the Flying Rooster to life by playing the Frog's Song of Soul then use its flying ability to fly over the pits.[3]

The Bird Key allows Link, by inserting it into the Bird Keyhole,[4] to unlock the access to the Eagle's Tower.[1]

Command the bird to ferry you over the gap to the far ledge. Once there, you'll find a treasure worth the feathers and fuss--the key to the Eagle's Tower."
