Death Bug is the boss of the Hero's Shrine in Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland.[1]

Characteristics

Death Bug is a large insectoid creature with a grotesque humanoid head and a body consisting of gold and green Rupee crystals.

It has a variety of attacks, including the ability to shoot out energy balls and strike out with long vines. Teddy Todo aids Tingle in this fight by defeating any larvae produced by Death Bug. It must be defeated by throwing multiple Tingle Bombs at the head atop its body. After being destroyed, it will yield 1,000 Rupees and the Metal Rupee.[2]
