The Water Dragon's Scale is a relic from Faron, the dragon spirit and protector of the Faron Woods.[1] It allows Link to dive and swim underwater.[2] He is also capable of performing a spin maneuver underwater.[3] If Link spins towards the top of the water, he will leap out of it.[4] The scale is obtained as a reward for completing Farore's Silent Realm. It is required to access Lake Floria.[5]

Hyrule Warriors Series

In Hyrule Warriors and Hyrule Warriors Legends, the Water Dragon Scale appears as the third tier of the Zora Scale weapon for Ruto. It is associated with the Water element.
