Hyrule Compendium Entry
123 (127) White-Maned Lynel
Description
These fearsome monsters have lived in Hyrule since ancient times. Their ability to breathe fire makes White-Maned Lynels among the toughest of the species; each one of their attacks is an invitation to the grave. There are so few eyewitness accounts of this breed because a White-Maned Lynel is not one to let even simple passersby escape with their lives.

White-Maned Lynels are known as the Black-colored varient to the Lynels. They have been in Hyrule since ancient times and only a veery few amount of witnesses of this breed barely escape with their lives to tell the tale.[1][2] Like its counterpart variants, it will often refrain from attacking for a short period of time after spotting Link, instead opting to stare down its opponent. However, they start their battle by roaring out loudly and attempts to thrust stab the ground to admit a fiery explosion around itself. Being a Higher tier variant from the previous Blue-Maned Lynels, it is known to carry a stronger set of Lynel gear such as a Savage Lynel Sword, Savage Lynel Shield, Savage Lynel Bow, Savage Lynel Spear and a Savage Lynel Crusher.

In Master Mode they carry the Mighty Lynel gear set. One also appear in the Great Plateau carrying a Savage Lynel set.
