Yellow Chuchu Jellies,(BotW | TotK | HWAoC)[1][2][name references needed] also known as Yellow Chu Jellies,(TP)[3] are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.

Location and Uses

Twilight Princess

In Twilight Princess, Yellow Chu Jelly oozes from Yellow Chus when they are defeated. It can be scooped up into a Bottle and functions exactly like Lantern Oil, refilling the Lantern fully when used. Yellow Chu Jelly will also immediately refill the Lantern if it is used to scoop up the Jelly. Yellow Chu Jelly is the only Chu Jelly that cannot be drunk by Link when stored in a bottle.

Breath of the Wild

Yellow Chuchu Jelly is dropped by Electric Chuchus when killed. It is also dropped by other Chuchus if these are killed with electric weapons, and can be created when regular Chuchu Jelly is exposed to electricity. When struck by physical attacks, it releases a spherical electrical pulse. Like other Monster Parts, they can be combined with critters in a Cooking Pot to make Elixirs. They can also be used at the Kochi Dye Shop to make Yellow Dye or sold to Kilton at the Fang and Bone for Mon.

The Rubber Armor set requires Yellow Chuchu Jellies to be upgraded to its first and second tiers at a Great Fairy Fountain.
