Cliffside Etchings

Game(s)
Quest Giver Geggle
Location Tabantha Bridge Stable
Reward Keeha Yoog Shrine

"Cliffside Etchings" is a Shrine Quest in Breath of the Wild.[1]

Overview

On the cliff behind Tabantha Bridge Stable, Link can find Geggle looking out at the Gerudo Highlands during the day. If Link asks him what he is looking at,[2] Geggle explains that he noticed a portion of the cliffs in the Gerudo Highlands appeared to be man-made.[3] He wishes that he could investigate, but he is unable to make such a journey on his own.[4] With this, the Shrine Quest begins.

When Link investigates the area Geggle spoke of, he will find a mural painted along the cliff face. The mural depicts several Lightning bolts, all of which are pointing towards a Pedestal. If Link shoots the Pedestal with a Shock Arrow, it will activate, causing Keeha Yoog Shrine to emerge from the ground.[5] After it surfaces, the Shrine Quest will be completed.[note 1]

Notes

  1. It is possible to unearth Keeha Yoog Shrine without receiving the Shrine Quest from Geggle. In this case, the Quest will be automatically completed once Link receives it.
