"EX Battle for Kakariko Village" is the third Scenario of EX and twenty-third overall in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.[1]
Overview
Save Kakariko Village
Daruk or Yunobo flees, or Kakariko Village falls
Defeat the Fire Moblin and their allies attacking Kakariko Village
Daruk, atop Divine Beast Vah Rudania, begins defending the village as Yunobo moves to defeat the Enemies threatening its safety. A Hylian Captain nearby thanks them for their help and describes how they struggled to defend the village on their own.[2] Upon the Enemies' defeat, more monsters appear, including a Silver Moblin and Meteo Wizzrobe. Daruk then spots a Yiga Blademaster and realizes that they are likely responsible for calling them.[3]
Defeat the Ice Moblin
Daruk tries to defeat the Yiga Blademaster using Vah Rudania but is interrupted by an Ice Moblin that appears next to him. Once it is defeated, Daruk defeats the Blademaster with ease.
Defeat the Yiga Blademasters
Three more Yiga Blademasters appear near the village after the first one is defeated. As Daruk is unable to attack them with Vah Rudania, Yunobo and the other Warriors must defeat them instead.[4]
A Thunder Wizzrobe also appears on top of Vah Rudania and prevents Daruk from providing cover for his allies.[5] If it is defeated, Daruk begins to attack again and captures the easternmost Outpost. Afterwards, a bomb-equipped Silver Moblin appears as well, and if defeated, allows Daruk to capture the northernmost Outpost. This repeats with a Meteo Wizzrobe and the easternmost Outpost, and finally, an Electric Moblin and the last Outpost remaining.
Defeat the Black Hinox and key enemies
Having defeated the Yiga Blademasters, Yunobo believes that the monster reinforcements should stop. However, a Black Hinox, Electric Chuchu, Thunder Wizzrobe, Fire Moblin, and Silver Moblin spawn regardless, much to his confusion.
Defeat Sooga
Sooga appears when all of the enemies are defeated and is revealed to have been calling reinforcements following the Yiga Blademasters' defeat.[6] Daruk orders Yunobo to defeat him, but when any of the Warriors approach Sooga, he disappears and reappears near Daruk aboard Vah Rudania.
Upon his defeat, Sooga apologizes to Master Kohga for his failure and retreats as Daruk and Yunobo celebrate their victory.[7]

Thank you! We rushed here when we heard about the monsters, but it was a rough fight on our own.

Hm? Yiga Clan chumps in a place like this? Maybe they're the ones calling the monsters!

Looks like we have Yiga Clan jerks to deal with. But attacking with Rudania is tricky right now...

Ugh, enemy reinforcements! If I don't defeat these, I won't be able to provide cover...

So that's who was calling the monsters earlier. OK... I won't let you get away with this!
