Mondi
Mondi is a character in Tears of the Kingdom.[1]
Biography
Mondi is a Hylian who guards the eastern entrance of Lookout Landing. He carries a Stone Spear that he created himself, which consists of a Long Stick with an attached Stone.[2]
If Link attempts to enter Lookout Landing for the first time from the east, Mondi will be shocked to see him.[3][4] He explains that since he and Zelda vanished at the beginning of the Upheaval, people have been worried about their whereabouts, and Purah has been particularly upset.[5] Mondi tells Link to meet with Purah in the Research Lab so that she knows he is safe.[6][7] If Link speaks to Mondi after he has already entered Lookout Landing, Mondi urges him to meet with Purah.[8] After Link has met with Purah, Mondi will greet Link the next time he speaks to him.[9][10][11][12][13] He shows off his Stone Spear, explaining that he made it himself in order to fight off Monsters after the metal Weapons decayed.[14][15][16]
