Signature

Ok. So I ended my sig with (font color=#9099AA) (but between html tags, of course). Then when I sign with ~ ~ ~ ~, I add a (/font) at the end. Basically, it makes the date and time stamp the same color as my sig. Would that be frowned upon? I would just have to be sure to end my ~ ~ ~ ~ with the (/font) every time, or it'll turn the whole page from that point on, blue. Man, I edited it for like 2 seconds, and you noticed. You are one darn observant sysop ;). I was typing this out when you edited on my talk page. Ya, so would you recommend against that? User:Light Knight/sig 02:28, 28 November 2008 (UTC)

Okay. So you want it like mine. Well, you can't do that in your signature. You have to do it in the signature box in your preferences.

Here is what I typed in it to get mine:

{{subst:User:Matt/sig2}} <span style="color:#C0C0C0;">{{subst:CURRENTTIME}}, {{subst:CURRENTMONTHNAME}} {{subst:CURRENTDAY}}, {{subst:CURRENTYEAR}} (UTC)</span>

Hi, I noticed that you deleted my sig page. And I recreated it, and finally understood why you did. As many as you want as long as it is under the page's limit. For articles, you can do it so long as there are not already four up. For images, you can do it so long as there are not already six up. You should make sure that they fit the guidelines at the top of the voting pages before nominating them though.

Glitch Pages

Okay, here you go. Take a look at the Youtube link. It is:

http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHDDGuYCIgo

There are two parts to this link. All that concerns you is what is after the equals sign. This is the video's unique ID. This ID is the same no matter what Youtube site you find it on. Be it the American, British, Australian, etc.

This unique ID is the most important part of the whole template. Without that, nothing else matters. But you should also specify how wide, in pixels, you want the video to be. Also, you can specify which side you want it to be on. Here are examples:

• {{Youtube|ZHDDGuYCIgo|256}}
• {{Youtube|ZHDDGuYCIgo|256|left}}
• {{Youtube|ZHDDGuYCIgo|256|right}}

You can also put a caption on the video if you want, but then, you have to specify a side as well:

• {{Youtube|ZHDDGuYCIgo|256|right|Glitch}}

I was thinking. Maybe Zelda Wiki could have a FAQ chatbox/room. I was going for an FAQ artical, but then thought of how much of a pain it would be to scroll down the page. Any question that was not answered in the "Help" section, could be answered there. It would be like ZU's chatroom, but for more of a helping purpose then just talking. *Just thought of something else.* Maybe Zelda Wiki could also have a chatroom? Mine is on a subpage because my main page is so huge. Yours is small enough that a gallery wouldn't get lost in it like mine would. All you need to do is format it like this:

Changing "You" to "Link"

There is a lot of ways you could do this but I don't really know which ones to change. For example: Some say "you" will have to get Link's bow. Others will explain how "you" should defeat an enemy. Help me understand this concept.--HeroOfTime6 19:43, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

Oracle images

Hey Matt, do you know any good places for characters in OoX (I would use the ones here, but it's hard do get rid of the white on the many that have white, feathered borders)? I don't know about the main site, but Ganon's Tower is not closing from what I have heard. The webmaster is stepping down and a new one is taking over. It has been a topic on the staff forum.

Idea for Help Pages

After just helping The Goron Moron with making a navigation pane for herself, I had an idea. Maybe we should make a page under the advanced editig help section on how to make navigation banners, simliar to that of the step by step instructions on how to make a custom sig. Suggestion

I was thinking [maybe], there should be a page which shows Zelda Wiki.org's holiday decorations. I do not know if each decoration for a certain holiday will be different like Google's, but reguardless, what do you think? A few Things

I've just been thinking that it is probably a good idea to lock the Glitch Disclaimer Notes from general editing, and just allow admins and me if possible to edit it... but I can just inform you guys if there's any changes to add. So do you think it should be locked!

Secondly, this is in regards to image editing requests. I would've put it on the page, but it would've been massive. If you look down the Help:Userbox List there are heaps of images that should have backgrouns removed, which would indeed be a large project to complete. Some examples are Romani and Cremina or Yeto and Yeta or Anju. I'm sure you can see what I mean. Are you up to it! - M E L C H I Z E D E K  (TALK) 11:00, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

It seems like most of the pages here are no longer needed on the Wiki. I marked each each one (other then the zelda related ones) with deletion notices. PC Troubles

Glitches in game Listings

You obviously know how the main game pages (OoT/MM/LoZ etc:) have the listings section (Items, Dungeons etc:). I only get this when I try to save an edit at the Glitches In The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess page:

Suggestion

Right under the words 'Recent Changes', there are two boxes. In the top box, there are links to help users know about the staff, logs, usercounts, etc... But, I think this should also be on the list. Who would want to have to use the search box for something they don't even understand? Other then making it easier to find, it also it just as important as any of the other links. You can start in Help:Contents. The help guides are not exactly complete. So you'd have to ask me directly for anything beyond that. Tables are not exactly easy. I'll make one right here. you can edit this section to see it.
