The Treasure Teller is a character in Phantom Hourglass.[2]

Biography

The Treasure Teller runs a Shop on the east side of Mercay Island, north of the Shipyard, where he appraises Link's collected Treasures and Ship Parts and, optionally, purchases them. Upon appraising an item,[3] the Treasure Teller randomly assigns it a value of either 50,[4] 150,[5] 800,[6] or 1,500 Rupees,[7] with these values then becoming fixed for the rest of the game. Parts from the Golden Ship will always be valued at 1,500 Rupees, while the stock Parts from the SS Linebeck (including Eddo's Cannon) will be valued at zero Rupees and therefore cannot be sold.[8]
