Are we leaving out games such as {{TLoZ}}, {{TAoL}}, {{OoS}}, {{OoA}} and {{ALBW}} because only Impa appears? {{OoT}} has Sheik, {{TP}} has Impaz, and I shouldn't need to explain {{BotW}}. {{SS}}, however, only contains Impa, albeit in two forms. The only reason I can think of is because none of the first 5 listed games mention Sheikah much, and only include them, although that is mere speculation.<br>Also, regarding "Category:Sheikah", shouldn't we put Rola and Jerrin in? Storytelling Cleaned Up

I have cleaned up a lot of the storytelling in this article. I want to remove the story template. Please discuss. --Xizor 20:36, 2 November 2011 (EDT)

Why discussing something you already removed? Or are you expecting some congratulations? If no story filler is present, then just remove the template --K2L (Interrogatory) 03:12, 3 November 2011 (EDT)
Because others may disagree. What a rude remark. Anyway, good job, Cip. Glad this article doesn't waste our readers' time anymore. --Xizor 06:03, 16 November 2011 (EST)
K2L, there are definitely better ways of talking to other editors (especially since he was simply asking about his template removal, and would return it to the page if there was dissent), you for one, should know this! :( As for wasting readers' time, Chris did write a lot of applicable information and content with relevance. Put simply, his verbose writing style clouded the meaning of what should have been simple sentences. I restructured many of the sentences with run-ons and the article's layout, while maintaining the relevant intention Chris had in the first place. Ironically, the length of the article now is about as short as it was the moment before Chris struck a pen to it! — ciprianotalk 22:27, 18 November 2011 (EST)

Sheikah Symbol

I think a list should be made of places the Sheikah symbol is seen without the teardrop. Such as the pillars in Veran's fight, the hilt of the Twilight Sword, the three posters in the Kakariko Shooting Gallery... Servantofgod (talk) 04:58, 17 December 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

There is also the Eye Symbol page, where the distinction between the Sheikah Eye and other similar symbols is being made. Zeldafan1982 (talk) 00:17, 18 December 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Timeshift Stones

What I meant was that the symbol is not the Sheikah Eye, it merely resembles it. Veran for instance bears an eye symbol but it's not the one associated with the Sheikah. Zeldafan1982 (talk) 03:18, 9 June 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Veran's eye has an entirely different shape, whereas the symbol on the Timeshift Stones are clearly meant to be a more stylized version of the Sheikah Eye Symbol as it still retains the basic shape. If it's considered too different looking then I guess it could be left out. - Midoro (T C) 03:37, 9 June 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Monks? (and missing games)

We still have no actual evidence that the monks found in the shrines are ACTUALLY Sheikah. It's implied in many ways, but without any substantial evidence I don't think the monks should be listed ans 'Notable Sheikah.'

PS: Is there a reason only Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword and Breath of the Wild are listed under games? The Sheikah are clearly present in other games.

The evidence is provided right there with a citation.
What sort of presence do they have in other games? - TonyT S C 00:30, 16 January 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
While the cannonity of Nate's words is questionable, I'll concede that point, assuming that he knows something we don't.
Impa HERSELF, being a Sheikah, is in the first two games, as well as the Oracle games, and Link Between Worlds. Is that not enough to count the Sheikah as part of the game?
D0xis (talk) 01:09, 16 January 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
The other games are not listed simply because Impa is the only Sheikah to appear in them, and there are no references made to the Sheikah at large. - Midoro (T C) 01:20, 16 January 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Young Sheikah?

Someone on Twitter seems to have encountered a younger Sheikah girl. If you can look past his crude comment anyway. https://twitter.com/JeffGrubb/status/835153856270999552 Mosaica (talk) 22:47, 24 February 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

White Hair?

At this point, would it make sense to add "white hair" as a special characteristic of Sheikah? Not all Sheikah have it of course, but they don't all have red eyes either. In BoTW it seems pretty clear that white hair is intended as a trait of Sheikah in particular. Kaialone02 (talk) 11:12, 4 January 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I don't know. The vast majority of Sheikah display it (but as you say, not all Sheikah have white hair. Rola, Jerrin, Granté, Fanadi, Skyward Sword Impa, Kohga, the entire Yiga Clan save Dorian etc... display varying hair colours, and they are Sheikah despite what TriforceTony says), so it may be good to add. If we're adding that, why not add about their long lifespans. They can easily live over a century, and physically age slower (Jerrin is 70 and does not look it, even if you speak to her without her applying makeup, before she can put "her face on") and if they have some unfulfilled divine purpose, like the monks or SS Impa, they appear to be able to live indefinitely. Red eyes appear to be much rarer than white hair, but they made it, so why not.Argentum kurodil (talk) 17:49, 22 January 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yes we should add that white hair is a characteristic for the Sheikah, though specifically this is true of Breath of the Wild. Like other species in the series, they seem to have changed from Skyward Sword and Ocarina of Time to their contemporary design in Breath of the Wild. There is a detail in the concept artwork for the Yiga, but as this is a handwritten note for concept artwork (which is not inherently canon) and doesn't specify if it's their hair or why it's colored that way, it's not necessarily an exception to this new feature of the Sheikah. And obviously members inducted into the clan from outside don't follow that rule. TriforceTony (talk) 21:06, 22 January 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Other Games

Are we leaving out games such as The Legend of Zelda, The Adventure of Link, Oracle of Seasons, Oracle of Ages and A Link Between Worlds because only Impa appears? Ocarina of Time has Sheik, Twilight Princess has Impaz, and I shouldn't need to explain Breath of the Wild. Skyward Sword, however, only contains Impa, albeit in two forms. The only reason I can think of is because none of the first 5 listed games mention Sheikah much, and only include them, although that is mere speculation.
Also, regarding "Category:Sheikah", shouldn't we put Rola and Jerrin in? Even if, theoretically, they are Hylian members, they are still a part of the Sheikah tribe. Argentum kurodil (talk) 11:46, 14 February 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
