Sand Crabs
Sand Crabs are very rare creatures that often roam the watery areas of Hyrule in A Link to the Past. Any means of attacks can defeat these easily, but a good choice is to pull out the Ice Rod and blast them with a chill, rendering them helpless.
In Link's Awakening, these creatures live on the beaches of Koholint Island, and they are no problem at all. These little monsters can be taken out by a few swipes of the sword.
In Oracle of Ages, Crabs are found on Crescent Island, in the Southeast Corner of Labrynna. They are easily defeated, and are attracted to the Scent Seed. They typically appear in groups of two or more in small places of the beach, where there is not much room to navigate around them, causing Link to take some damage if he tries to pass by them.
The Wind Waker
In The Wind Waker, crabs are small, helpless creatures that are found near the water at islands across the Great Sea, usually on sand but sometimes grass. They are the only 2-D objects in the whole game, and as such, are harmless to anyone. They disappear into the ground if anyone gets too close, but they will eventually return to the surface once the threat is gone.
