A Link to the Past
A Library appears in A Link to the Past. The Book of Mudora can be found on the top of a bookshelf, and can be knocked down by running into it with Pegasus Boots.
Link's Awakening
Link's Awakening mainly uses a library as a reference for controls. Readable books also include a Koholint Island Atlas and directions to be used inside the Wind Fish's Egg. In the DX version, a book to find the extra 'Color' dungeon sits atop a shelf. Also retrieved by dashing into it.
Oracle of Ages
Oracle of Ages includes a Library with a similar book knock down challenge. The Book of Seals is acquired. It contains directions for a path in the past.
The Minish Cap
In The Minish Cap, the Library is home to the Minish, Librari.
Link must find three members of Hyrule who have overdue books. When the task is done, the Library will store the books back on their shelves, giving Link the chance (as a Minish) to climb them and reach Librari. When Vaati the evil sorcerer takes over Hyrule Castle, a vassal guard will block the way to the Library, preventing Link from venturing inside anymore.
